Website: Links to the online manual are broken

The documentation (e.g. usually contains links to the online manual, all of which (as far as I can tell) point to a location which returns a 404 error page: This should point to or be removed entirely.

Apologies if this has been raised before.

  • Category set to documentation
  • Status changed from New to Accepted
  • Assignee set to Mark Abraham
  • Target version set to 5.x

Thanks for the observation!

We should fix such things, but doing so for those links on such pages is currently a lot of manual work. There's a lot of documentation updates done for 5.1, but the final location to which such pages should point is not yet clear, so I'll plan to deal with that when someone won't have to do it twice!

We should rework these pages completely - I see no point whatsoever in having documentation in three different places with mutual links that have to be manually updated!

Those pages have already been removed and are now only available at the new locations.
What is still needed is to remove the pages, as they are only for the outdated version of 5.0.7 and are picked up by google instead of the updated docs in

I changed it so that points to the latest release version, e.g. 2018.4 at the moment, with the summary page available as before at

#5 Updated by Mark Abraham about 2 years ago

  • Status changed from Accepted to In Progress
  • Target version changed from future to 2019 and both point at the top-level page for the documentation, which has as its first link the current version. Paul is working on making the old content available from a link further down the page, for the few people who still use the old version.

  • Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
  • Target version changed from 2019 to future

I updated the links in the top level document to point to the old material, so I think this here is done.
