Description

I configured the main Gromacs repository for the subprojects that I'm managing to make commit linking work, but it seems that this causes all commits to appear on the activity page of the main Gromacs project three times... I don't know whether there is any easy workaround.

Is that still the case? My activity showed up correctly.

It seems that new commits appear properly (on the activity pages, at least), but there is still something fishy in the way the repositories work for subprojects. Older commits still appear three times (look at some commits before Christmas on the main Gromacs project activity page), and my new commits that are linked to issues appear twice each on the issue page (e.g., issue #637). Also, new commits did not appear on the activity pages of subprojects until I first clicked on the Repository tab and then went back to the Activity page, but I don't remember whether I first tried forcing a refresh on the Activity page.

The original reason why I did add the same repository on the subprojects as well was that I couldn't get links like commit:abcdefg in issue comments working properly otherwise. And now it seems that it is impossible to change or remove that repository, so my ability to test things is quite limited.

I take my words back: there's just some funny delay in the appearance of duplicate commits on the main Gromacs activity page.

No, the issue still persists.

Did the new redmine version solve the issue?

Yes, both this and #933 seem to be fixed by the upgrade, but we can keep them open for a while to double-check.

PS. I think it really should be possible to create/update Bugs also in this project...
